Quantum Fintech Group Harry Yeh’s Mysterious Death Investigated in Paraguay

Harry Yeh, Managing Partner and Founder of Quantum Fintech Group, which focused primarily on investments in the Fanton ecosystem and registered over $2B in assets under management, was found dead in Paraguay on Friday in mysterious circumstances.

According to local reports, Harry Chun Tak Yeh, a Chinese resident, was found dead at the base of the Jade Park residential complex in the early morning hours of last Friday, after falling over 100 meters to his death from the 30th floor.

Yeh, who had two apartments in the complex, was found completely naked and covered by a black bag when police first got to the site after receiving an undisclosed emergency call.

When investigating Yeh’s residence, police found the apartment doors open and personal and other items scattered throughout the tenement, hinting at the involvement of third parties in the incident.

The police also interviewed Isadora de Proenca Braganholo Carvalho, Yeh’s partner, who also lived in an apartment on the 27th floor. Still, she alleged she did not know about the incident.

Francisco Ávalos, Asuncion Police’s General Inspector, stressed that the investigation was still in its initial stages and that the cause of the fall was still unknown.

CCTV footage of the complex could give more details about what happened with Yeh, as homicide agents are reportedly analyzing this data for clues to clarify what happened that night.

Hypotheses range from an accident, a possible suicide, or the intervention of third parties, given the strangeness of Yeh’s death following a rise in wrench attacks against cryptocurrency holders, and authorities do not rule out new proceedings in the building as the investigation progresses.

Yeh’s body will be submitted to an autopsy by law and to execute forensic studies to determine elements that could help in the ongoing investigation.
