Allbridge processes $1.64B in stablecoins on TRON with nearly 80,000 transfers

Allbridge Core, the cross-chain stablecoin bridge, has moved $1.64 billion in stablecoins through the TRON network across nearly 80,000 transfers. That makes TRON the leading network in Allbridge’s ecosystem.

The milestone lands at a moment when TRON is processing staggering amounts of stablecoin value. The network handled roughly $2.08 trillion in stablecoin settlement volume during Q2 2026 alone, spread across 1.1 billion transactions.

TRON’s stablecoin stranglehold

TRON’s USDT supply reached approximately $89 billion by the end of Q2 2026, representing roughly 47% of the entire global USDT supply. TRON commands a 28.7% share of the overall stablecoin market by volume.

About 93% of TRON’s stablecoin transfers during Q2 2026 were peer-to-peer in nature. This isn’t DeFi protocol volume getting recycled through liquidity pools. It’s people sending money to other people.

Allbridge’s TRON integration and growing pains

Allbridge completed its full integration with TRON in June 2026, establishing the network as a primary cross-chain hub for USDT alongside Ethereum and Solana. The 77,021 transfers recorded through Allbridge Core on TRON by late June reflect early traction from that integration.

In July 2026, Allbridge suffered a $1.65 million flash-loan exploit targeting its Solana pools. The attack forced a temporary protocol pause while the team assessed the damage and patched vulnerabilities.

The incident prompted a strategic pivot. Allbridge has signaled a shift toward pool-less routing in future versions of the protocol, a design choice that would eliminate the liquidity pools that flash-loan attackers target. Protocols like Circle’s CCTP and LayerZero’s OFT standard are pioneering approaches that move away from traditional bridging pools.

What this means for cross-chain stablecoin flows

The competitive landscape for cross-chain stablecoin bridges includes native issuer solutions like Circle’s CCTP potentially disintermediating third-party bridges entirely for USDC transfers. Allbridge’s focus on USDT routing through TRON gives it a differentiated lane, since Tether has not launched an equivalent native cross-chain protocol. The 77,021 transfers and $1.64 billion in volume suggest there is real demand for someone to fill that gap.
