BitFuFu adds 59 BTC to treasury, now holds 1,373 BTC worth roughly $109M

BitFuFu (NASDAQ: FUFU) closed August 2026 with 1,373 BTC sitting in its corporate treasury, after adding 59 BTC during the month. At prevailing market prices, that stack is worth roughly $109 million.

The numbers behind the month

BitFuFu produced 174 BTC in August, averaging 5.6 BTC per day across its operations. That output split almost evenly between two business lines: 88 BTC came from self-mining, where the company keeps the coins, and 86 BTC came from cloud mining, where clients pay for hashrate and take the rewards.

On the infrastructure side, BitFuFu’s managed hashrate climbed to 20.6 EH/s in August, a 45% increase month-over-month. Of that total, 3.8 EH/s came from self-owned mining assets, with the remainder attributable to managed or cloud-hosted equipment.

Fleet efficiency landed at 16.7 joules per terahash. Power capacity across the company’s facilities reached 344 MW.

A treasury that has already been tested

BitFuFu’s Bitcoin holdings have not moved in a straight line. The company peaked at 1,855 BTC in May 2026 before the balance fell to 1,314 BTC by the end of July, a drawdown of more than 500 BTC over roughly two months. August’s net addition of 59 BTC represents a turn back toward accumulation, though the current 1,373 BTC still sits well below that May high.

BitFuFu was founded in 2020 and went public through a SPAC merger completed in March 2024, listing on Nasdaq under the ticker FUFU. The company specializes in cloud mining services alongside its own physical mining operations, which gives it a revenue model that does not depend entirely on Bitcoin’s spot price. Cloud mining clients pay upfront for hashrate, providing BitFuFu with cash flow regardless of where Bitcoin trades on any given day.
