Bitwise reports $1.8B in net inflows across crypto products in H1 2026

Bitwise Asset Management hauled in more than $1.8 billion in net inflows across its crypto investment products during the first half of 2026. That’s a remarkable number on its own, but it becomes genuinely surprising when you consider the backdrop: crypto asset prices dropped roughly 36% over the same period.

The numbers behind the headline

The firm’s suite of exchange-traded products saw broad-based demand, but the breakout star was BSOL, Bitwise’s Solana staking ETF. The fund attracted $267.1 million in net subscriptions during the first six months of the year, ending H1 with net assets totaling $592.3 million.

The picture was more complicated for BITB, Bitwise’s spot Bitcoin ETF. The fund recorded $755 million in creations during H1 2026, but also faced $900 million in redemptions over the same stretch, resulting in a net reduction in outstanding shares.

Bitwise’s total assets under management sit at approximately $5 billion.

The staking ETF thesis gains traction

BSOL’s strong performance speaks to a structural shift in how investors think about crypto exposure. Traditional spot ETFs like BITB give you pure price exposure to Bitcoin. Staking ETFs add a yield component, generating returns by participating in proof-of-stake network validation.

BSOL did report operational losses of $316 million during H1, which largely reflects the decline in Solana’s price eating into the fund’s net asset value.

Bitwise offers a variety of ETFs spanning Bitcoin, Solana staking, and other yield-enhanced vehicles. While broad crypto prices were falling, certain segments of crypto equities actually posted gains during H1 2026.
