Centrifuge has deployed two tokenized real-world asset products on X Layer, OKX’s Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, giving the exchange’s massive user base direct access to institutional-grade yield instruments without leaving the DeFi ecosystem. The two assets, deJTRSY and deJAAA, offer exposure to short-duration US Treasuries and AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations, respectively.
The move lands Centrifuge inside a network that already boasts more than 120 million users and a stablecoin supply north of $2 billion.
What Centrifuge actually deployed
deJTRSY functions as a tokenized wrapper around short-duration US Treasury exposure. deJAAA offers exposure to AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations, essentially bundles of corporate loans that carry top-tier credit ratings.
Both products went live on X Layer in June 2026, roughly a month after Centrifuge formalized its partnership with OKX’s Exchange OS in May. That partnership lets protocols share infrastructure rather than rebuilding tokenization rails from scratch on every new chain.
Centrifuge has facilitated over $1.3 billion in tokenized assets since launching in 2017, working with institutions including Apollo and S&P Dow Jones Indices.
X Layer’s growing footprint
X Layer has crossed $100 million in DeFi total value locked this year, aided by integrations with protocols like Aave and Uniswap. The stablecoin supply exceeding $2 billion means Centrifuge’s products won’t suffer from the liquidity desert that plagues tokenized assets on smaller chains.
The broader RWA tokenization race
The real-world asset tokenization sector has become one of the most competitive corners of crypto, with BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, Franklin Templeton’s on-chain money market fund, and Ondo Finance all vying for the same institutional capital.
The August 2026 expansion into Para-powered wallets makes deJTRSY and deJAAA accessible from additional wallet interfaces, reducing friction for potential buyers interacting with tokenized assets.
