Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo is 35 years old, has played over 2,266 competitive maps, and just put his team one match away from a third Major championship. FURIA Esports swept Aurora 2-0 in the IEM Cologne Major 2026 semifinals on June 20, punching their ticket to the grand final.
The road to the final
FalleN carries a career 1.04 rating across those 2,266-plus maps. His previous Major victories came at MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One Cologne 2016, both with Luminosity Gaming (later SK Gaming). The last time FalleN stood on a Major final stage was a full decade ago.
FURIA will face either Falcons or Team Spirit in the grand final on June 21.
Old guard meets new blood
Players like yuurih and KSCERATO have been cornerstones of the FURIA project for years, developing into world-class talent under the organization’s developmental philosophy. FalleN’s role has evolved from mechanical carry to in-game leader whose calling style gives younger players the framework to play aggressively while maintaining structure.
The business side of FURIA’s run
FURIA previously secured a $3.25M sponsorship deal with FTX in 2022, a partnership that was terminated following the crypto exchange’s collapse. They survived the loss of that major sponsor without collapsing operationally and continued investing in their roster.
The grand final on June 21 will determine whether FalleN becomes a three-time Major champion at age 35.
