Natus Vincere’s Mimedotant represents team at EWC 2026 as Trackmania makes its debut

Trackmania, the racing game that has quietly cultivated one of the most dedicated competitive communities in esports, just got its biggest stage yet. The Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris has added the title to its lineup for the first time, and Natus Vincere’s Mimedotant is making sure the organization’s presence is felt.

The Ukrainian player currently sits in second place with 141 points after the opening day of competition, trailing only Carl Jr. in what has already shaped up to be a tightly contested championship bracket featuring 32 of the world’s best Trackmania competitors.

Trackmania’s big moment in Paris

The EWC 2026 is being held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from August 19 to 22. It’s the third edition of the annual global club championship, but the first to be staged in France after previous iterations were hosted in Saudi Arabia.

The $500,000 prize pool attached to the Trackmania segment underscores the organizers’ commitment to treating the game as a serious competitive discipline. Thirty-two players are competing in the championship format. Mimedotant has already navigated through initial matches successfully, facing off against notable competitors including Carl Jr., Richie, and Flimsy. After advancing past the early rounds, the NAVI representative expressed confidence about his positioning heading into the remaining days of competition.

NAVI’s multi-title strategy at EWC

Mimedotant’s appearance in Paris is part of a broader organizational push by Natus Vincere across the Esports World Cup. NAVI qualified for the 2026 edition through strong performances across multiple game titles earlier in the year, with their PUBG squad among the teams that helped secure the organization’s spot.

Not every NAVI roster has found the same success at this year’s event, though. The organization’s Counter-Strike 2 squad exited their EWC segment without securing any points. In a tournament format that rewards organizations for accumulating points across multiple titles, having a strong Trackmania showing helps offset the CS2 shortfall.
