Paris Saint-Germain has tabled an official bid north of €40 million for Ajax winger Mika Godts, with negotiations reportedly creeping toward the €45 million mark. Personal terms between the 21-year-old Belgian and the French club are already agreed, according to multiple reports from sports journalists including Fabrizio Romano.
Ajax values Godts at roughly €60 million, which means there’s a gap of at least €15 million between what PSG wants to pay and what Ajax wants to receive.
What PSG is buying
Godts put together a genuinely impressive 2025-26 campaign, recording 17 goals and 13 assists across 34 Eredivisie appearances.
The transfer story emerged in the final days of July 2026 and has been developing rapidly, though neither PSG nor Ajax has issued an official confirmation.
The fan token angle
PSG operates one of the most prominent fan token ecosystems in professional sports, built on the Chiliz blockchain platform. The PSG fan token (PSG) gives holders voting rights on minor club decisions and access to exclusive experiences.
Right now there’s no observable impact from the Godts negotiations on PSG’s fan token pricing. No spike, no dip, no unusual trading volume that anyone can point to. The transfer market and the token market are currently operating in separate lanes.
Fan tokens are not equity in the club. They don’t entitle holders to transfer fee revenue or matchday income.
Why crypto investors should care about football’s transfer window
For the Chiliz ecosystem specifically, which hosts fan tokens for dozens of major clubs including PSG, Barcelona, Juventus, and AC Milan, the transfer window is essentially earnings season.
