Solana Mobile’s SKR token tops gainers among top 200 cryptocurrencies

1 hour ago 10

Solana Mobile’s SKR token just posted an approximately 82% gain over the past 24 hours, climbing to around $0.022 and pushing its market capitalization past $200 million. That makes it the top performer among the 200 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap, with Helium’s HNT token running a close second at gains between 85% and 110%.

What’s driving SKR’s rally

SKR is the native token of the Seeker ecosystem, Solana Mobile’s second-generation crypto phone project. The token launched on January 21, 2026, via an airdrop that distributed nearly 2 billion tokens to more than 100,000 users and developers.

Total supply is capped at 10 billion tokens. Inflation starts at 10% annually and gradually decays to a 2% terminal rate over time, with all rewards distributed every 48 hours.

Staking activity suggests the incentive structure is working. Over 4.93 billion SKR tokens are currently staked network-wide, meaning roughly half the total supply is locked up.

The staking mechanics let users delegate their tokens to “Guardians,” a system that supports periodic governance votes and reward distributions.

The Seeker device and its ecosystem

The Seeker phone itself shipped in August 2025 and has since reached over 150,000 users across multiple countries. The device runs its own dApp Store, which now hosts more than 200 applications.

Ongoing incentive programs, including what’s been called the “Seeker Summer” reward rounds, appear to be driving renewed engagement. The timing of this rally aligns with those ecosystem incentives ramping up.

Solana Mobile’s first phone, the Saga, became a surprise hit in 2023 after an initial lukewarm reception. Early buyers were rewarded with token airdrops that far exceeded the phone’s purchase price.

Helium’s parallel surge

HNT, the native token of the Helium network, posted gains of 85% to 110% over the same 24-hour period, reaching price levels between $0.70 and $0.89. Helium operates in the decentralized physical infrastructure sector, or DePIN, where real-world hardware networks are coordinated and incentivized through blockchain tokens.

Helium’s network lets individuals deploy wireless hotspots and earn tokens for providing connectivity. The project migrated to the Solana blockchain in 2023, which means both SKR and HNT share a common infrastructure layer.
