Strategy buys 950 Bitcoin for $76 million as holdings hit 846,000

Strategy bought 950 Bitcoin for approximately $76 million in the week through Sept. 20, increasing its holdings to 846,000 BTC, the company said Monday. The purchases were funded with USD Cash and carried an average price of $79,670 per Bitcoin.

The latest acquisition takes Strategy’s aggregate Bitcoin purchase price to $63.8 billion, with the company’s average cost rising to $75,416 per BTC. Strategy did not sell shares through its at-the-market offering during the period.

Strategy also used $174 million in USD Cash to repurchase nearly 1.8 million STRC shares. As of Sept. 20, its USD Reserve exceeded $5 billion and USD Cash at more than $1 billion.
