Team Liquid’s Counter-Strike 2 roster has registered for the Stake Pulse Beat I, an inaugural $60,000 tournament set for July 31 through August 5 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The tournament, produced by Black Molly Entertainment (BME) at their Stockholm studio, represents the first event in what’s being called the Stake Pulse circuit. Stake, the crypto-focused online casino and sportsbook founded in 2017, steps in as title sponsor.

How the tournament works

Stake Pulse Beat I will feature 16 teams competing in a GSL group format, with best-of-three matches leading into single-elimination playoffs. All matches will be played live at the BME studio.

The prize distribution breaks down as follows: First place takes home $20,000. Second gets $8,000. Third and fourth place earn $6,000 each, while fifth through eighth receive $4,000 apiece. Teams finishing ninth through twelfth walk away with $1,000 each.

Registration opened on June 18, with 14 of the 16 available spots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each team pays a $2,000 entry fee that covers accommodation and practice facilities. The remaining two slots will be decided through online qualifiers running June 30 to July 1.

ESPLAY handles servers and referees, while ESPORTSTUDION provides Swedish broadcast production.

Stake’s expanding sports portfolio

Stake has already established partnerships across Formula 1 and UFC, processing billions in transactions as a crypto-native gambling platform. Black Molly Entertainment is also set to host two more events in the Stake Pulse series later in 2026.
