Temple Digital Group, the New York-based financial market infrastructure company, has landed on Token Terminal, giving the analytics platform’s users a direct window into the exchange’s trading metrics.
Temple is the first central limit order book (CLOB) exchange natively built on the Canton Network, and as of mid-2026, it has become the highest revenue-generating application on that network.
What Temple actually does
Temple took the CLOB model and built it directly on Canton, a privacy-focused blockchain designed by Digital Asset for enterprise use. The result is a platform that offers 24/7 institutional trading with non-custodial settlement. That means approved institutional counterparties can trade tokenized assets and digital instruments around the clock without handing over custody of their assets to a centralized party.
Temple went live with trading on January 8, 2026, opening its doors exclusively to approved institutional counterparties.
The Token Terminal integration now makes Temple’s performance data publicly accessible. Users of the analytics platform can track Temple’s trading metrics in real time.
The Canton Network play
Canton Network is built by Digital Asset and is designed to be an interoperable blockchain network where regulated institutions can transact with privacy guarantees baked in at the protocol level. Unlike public blockchains where every transaction is visible to anyone with an explorer, Canton allows participants to keep their trading activity private while still benefiting from blockchain-based settlement.
The company raised a $5 million seed round in October 2025, followed by additional investment from SBI Group, one of Japan’s largest financial conglomerates.
Building the data layer
In May 2026, Kaiko integrated Temple’s market data into its feeds. That integration includes Level 1 and Level 2 data, as well as full order book information. Level 1 data covers the best bid, best ask, and last trade price. Level 2 shows the full depth of the order book with all outstanding buy and sell orders at various price levels.
Temple has not associated any specific tokens with its Token Terminal listings. The platform’s focus remains on privacy and compliance in trading tokenized assets, not on launching its own token.
Temple has plans to expand into additional regulated markets later in 2026.
