Trading Technologies expands platform to support CFTC-regulated prediction markets

Trading Technologies, the software platform that powers a significant chunk of institutional futures and options trading, is making a deliberate push into two of the fastest-growing corners of finance: prediction markets and crypto derivatives.

The company announced connectivity to Kalshi, the prediction market exchange, back in June 2026, with live trading expected in Q3 2026. More recently, TT revealed it will also support OG.com, the CFTC-regulated exchange operated by Crypto.com, targeting a Q4 2026 launch for margin-based crypto futures contracts.

What TT is actually building

The Kalshi integration means professional traders will be able to access CFTC-regulated prediction contracts, essentially event-based markets where participants trade on the outcome of real-world events, directly through the TT platform they already use daily.

The OG.com partnership adds another dimension. When Crypto.com’s regulated exchange launches its margin-based crypto futures contracts, TT users will be able to trade those products without leaving their existing workflow.

Alun Green, TT’s EVP, pointed to what’s driving this expansion.

“There is a strong and growing appetite among our institutional clients” for prediction market products, Green said, highlighting the demand for integrating these offerings into existing trading workflows.

Why institutional plumbing matters

By connecting to CFTC-regulated venues like Kalshi and OG.com, the company ensures that every trade flows through a compliant framework. And by embedding these products within TT’s existing platform, it eliminates the friction of onboarding to a separate system.

Steve Humenik, EVP at OG.com, emphasized the importance of institutional-grade access and compliance in the partnership.

TT’s multi-asset platform already covers futures, options, fixed income, and foreign exchange. Adding prediction markets and crypto derivatives doesn’t represent a pivot.

The bigger picture for regulated prediction markets

TT has signaled that Kalshi and OG.com are just the beginning. The company has plans for further expansion into additional US-regulated prediction market venues.

The Kalshi integration is expected to go live in Q3 2026, and OG.com’s crypto futures are targeting Q4 2026.
