TYLOO promotes xihe to main roster for VCT debut

TYLOO, one of Asia’s most storied esports organizations, has promoted academy player xihe to its main Valorant roster. The move positions the team with a six-player lineup heading into VCT 2026 China Stage 2.

xihe, whose real name is Peng Wenbo, makes the jump from TYLOO’s youth pipeline to the big stage.

The new-look roster

TYLOO’s active lineup now reads like a blend of seasoned competitors and fresh blood. The six-player squad consists of splash (Moses Christophe Jonathan), slowly (Kelun Sun), Scales (Zhang Zhen), Erv (Shen Zhiwei), SiuFatBB (Pong Gaa Hei), and the newly elevated xihe.

xihe isn’t walking into this completely cold. He already subbed for TYLOO during recent competition and saw action in the China Evolution Series Act 2, where he played roles including Initiator agents and Omen.

The roster shuffle also includes sword9 (Li Wei) transitioning back to a coaching position. Moving an experienced competitor like sword9 into a coaching seat keeps institutional knowledge within the organization while freeing up a roster spot for younger talent.

TYLOO’s long game in Valorant

Founded in 2007, the organization spent nearly two decades building its brand through Counter-Strike before pivoting into Riot Games’ tactical shooter. TYLOO operates as a partner team in the VCT China league, which puts them in a tier of organizations that Riot has essentially hand-picked to anchor its competitive ecosystem in the region.
