BizLink acquires Blackstone’s Interplex Datacom for $850M to boost data center capabilities

BizLink Holding is paying $850 million in cash to acquire Interplex Datacom, the ICT division of Ennovi, a company under Blackstone’s umbrella. The deal includes up to $50 million in additional contingent consideration, bringing the potential total to $900 million.

For a Taiwan-listed company known for high-speed cables and interconnect solutions, this is a clear statement of intent: BizLink wants to be a major player in the AI data center supply chain.

What BizLink is actually buying

Interplex Datacom is a Singapore-based business specializing in high-performance connectors, busbars, and mechanical solutions designed for data center infrastructure.

Blackstone originally acquired the broader Interplex business back in January 2022 for approximately $1.6 billion. In 2023, the mobility electrification segment was carved out into a separate entity, leaving Interplex Datacom as a focused ICT asset.

Blackstone was reportedly targeting a valuation above $1 billion for the ICT division as recently as January 2026. The $850 million base price suggests BizLink negotiated a discount, though the contingent consideration could narrow that gap depending on performance milestones.

The transaction, announced on June 10, 2026, is expected to close in the second half of 2026.

Why data center connectors matter right now

BizLink has been positioned in this space for years, manufacturing high-speed cables and interconnect solutions. Connectors and mechanical assemblies represent a different, complementary layer of the data center stack: BizLink made the wires, and now it’s buying the company that makes the things the wires plug into.

Interplex Datacom’s expertise in busbars is particularly relevant. Busbars are thick metal strips that distribute electrical power within equipment, and as AI server racks consume increasingly large amounts of electricity, the demand for high-quality power distribution components has grown accordingly.

Blackstone’s playbook in action

Blackstone paid roughly $1.6 billion for all of Interplex in 2022. Now it’s selling just the ICT division for $850 million to $900 million. The mobility electrification business was carved out separately in 2023.

What this means for investors

BizLink shareholders should watch for integration risk. Absorbing an $850 million acquisition is a significant undertaking for a mid-cap Taiwanese company. The success of this deal will hinge on whether BizLink can cross-sell Interplex Datacom’s products to its existing customer base and realize operational synergies without disrupting either business.
