Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni is keeping things cool ahead of his team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinal clash against England, calling it “a football match. No more than that.”

Scaloni’s measured approach

He’s been equally complimentary of Spain’s tournament trajectory, noting that they “keep improving” and describing a potential Spain vs. France matchup as “a final played early.”
